Things you need to know before purchase

Postage and Packing: 
Postage for the UK is a FREE on orders over 20, and just a LOW 2.25 for smaller orders.  Please note: You may have to sign for your delivery.

Outside of the UK, our shipping rate is based on weight - you will be advised the shipping rate prior to completing checkout, this starts at 3.25 and is based on order weight.

Payment is preferred by Credit/Debit card or Paypal. We only accept Credit/Debit card for international sales.

The Consumer Rights Directive (2014) gives you the right to a "Cooling Off" period, i.e. a right to cancel your order within 14 working days following the day of receipt of the goods and return them for a refund. It is your responsibility to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period by email, fax, letter or telephone. The goods must be returned in the condition they were dispatched, although you are allowed to have opened and examined the goods, as you would in a shop.  You are not permitted to have used the item in a way that would not be possible in a retail environment.If you wish to make a return under the "Cooling Off" period you are responsible for return postage. Return Postage:
If you change your mind, you are responsible for any postage costs.  Please remember that until we receive the goods back from you, they remain your responsibility, so please ensure that they are well packaged and insured in transit where applicable.

Exclusions to return policy:
For hygiene reasons, some items (for example, but not exclusively) ear-rings for pierced ears, are excluded from our return policy and can only be returned should a genuine manufacturing fault exist.  Items which are excluded will be clearly stated in the description.

Faulty Goods:
Goods that have a manufacturing defect will be refunded or replaced at the managements discretion, on return.  Please complete a returns form available from http://www.sparkleandshimmer.co.uk/returns-pack.pdf and obtain a returns authorisation code and returns label from us before returning any faulty item. 
In all cases, our maximum possible refund payable will be the total paid to us by you.  No payment or refund will be made for, but not limited to, disappointment, time lost or any consequential loss of any form whatsoever.

Refund Of Return Postage On Faulty Goods:
We offer freepost returns labels to return all faulty items within the UK These will be emailed to you to print OR write the details onto the package, and you will not be charged when handing your item in at a post office or posting smaller items in a post box.  If you choose not to use our label and instead choose to pay to return the item at the post office, any expenses you incur will not be refunded.

Items Lost In Post:
Royal mail do not consider an item to be lost in the post until 15 working days (3 weeks) have elapsed.  If you believe your order has been lost in the post, and it is 3 weeks since you placed your order, we will require you to complete a very simple "lost in post" form, after which we will arrange for replacement products to be dispatched. No claim for non-delivery will be accepted until we receive a copy of this form back from you. Only if replacement products are not available will a refund be entertained.

Use Paypal or using your debit or credit card.  We will dispatch your purchase within 1 working day.  Delivery is by Royal Mail or Courier for larger orders.  Note that for many items you will need to sign, and our delivery agents will not leave packages without signature where this is the case.
